The Axiomtek IFW330 is an integrated industrial 3-port firewall with NAT/VPN/router all-in-one designed to keep your automation networks safe and secure. As we enter the era of IoT (Internet of Things), the rise in cyber attacks in industrial appliances as resulted in cyber security becoming a central concern amongst industrial automation and control system users and vendors. The Axiomtek IFW330 is designed for protecting sensitive networks and mission-critical assets against growing cyber threats, such as in electric power generation, oil and gas refineries, fuels pipelines, water and wastewater treatment, chemical industries, and factory automation.
Equipped with firewall features such as stateful packet inspection, Denial of Service (DoS), and Intrusion Detection & Prevention (IDP), the Axiomtek IFW330 could be used to protect machine and equipment connecting to un-trusted internet. The intelligent din-rail firewall platform is built in with Site-to-Site IPSec VPN Tunnels, Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP) VPN client connections, and SSL VPN. It supports IPv4 and IPv6 dual-mode protocol and comes with the high throughput rate maximum up to 500Mbps, providing not only flexible choice in protocol solution yet better data transmission. The robust IFW330 also has industrial protocol management including EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, Lonworks, Profinet, Modbus, DNP that pave a way to secure field bus network.
The IFW330 is powered by the Intel® Atom™ processor E3815 with low power consumption. The Intel® Bay Trail fanless industrial firewall system supports one WAN, one LAN and one configurable WAN/DMZ interface providing flexible configuration for different applications. The slim-type din-rail firewall appliance comes with 2GB DRAM and 2GB CompactFlash™ for storage. Other I/O features include one VGA, one USB 2.0, one 4-channel DIO, one RS-232, and one RS-232/422/485 ports. The Axiomtek IFW330 is built with a heavy-duty aluminum extrusion with IP40 anti-dust ingress protection, giving it a high degree of structural strength and protection. Its fanless design allows for noiseless operations and lowers maintenance cost. The Intel® Atom-based industrial firewall solution supports extended temperature range of -40°C~75°C and can be integrated anywhere through the DIN-rail and wall-mount mounting kit. The power-saving IFW330 is equipped with a wide range 12~48 VDC terminal block power input for industrial use.
